You are probably the reason I don't play jazz fusion lol. I do occassionally steal some ideas and apply them to other genres. This is interesting tho...because this not jazz fusion. This is just consonant jazz on solo guitar. Reminds me more of Django Reinhardt than jazz fusion. If that is what you were going for, then you nailed it.

I grew up about 20 miles from where Pat Metheny grew up and I have been listening to his music and attending his performance since the 1970s, so good to see him on UA-cam, I hope young people discover him.

We saw Pat in 1983 in Rochester, NY. Tremendous band and packed venue! We saw a lot of the Dead Head /VW Microbus crowd in attendance!
